What I liked
I like the combination of survival, shooting and exploration. The larger environments give you more freedom than the older Metro games while still keeping the series' atmosphere.
What I didn't like
The slower movement and survival elements can sometimes make the game feel heavy compared with faster shooters.
Combat & Gameplay
Exploring for supplies, maintaining your equipment and deciding how to approach enemies makes the world feel dangerous. Ammunition and resources actually matter.
Comparison
This is an enhanced version of Metro Exodus rather than a completely different game, so the core experience remains what I enjoyed about Metro Exodus.
Final Thoughts
A strong atmospheric shooter with good exploration and survival mechanics. 8/10.
