F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin
What I liked
I liked the combination of shooting and horror. One minute you're fighting soldiers and the next the game changes the atmosphere completely with something strange or disturbing.
What I didn't like
Some parts feel dated now, and the horror becomes less surprising once you understand the type of scares the game likes to use.
Story
The story continues the mystery surrounding Alma and gives you more information about what happened, while still keeping a lot of the disturbing atmosphere.
Combat & Gameplay
Slow-motion combat is still one of the best parts. Activating it during a gunfight and taking down several enemies makes the shooting much more satisfying.
Exploration & Open World
Dark environments, unexpected visions and supernatural events make the game feel different from a normal military shooter.
Final Thoughts
A very good combination of FPS action and horror. The slow-motion gunfights are fun, while Alma and the atmosphere keep the game uncomfortable in a good way.
