Dragon Age: Origins
What I liked
The story, characters and choices are what made this game special for me. Your decisions can actually affect characters and what happens later, which makes the RPG experience feel much deeper.
What I didn't like
The combat can feel slow compared with newer RPGs, and today the graphics definitely show the game's age.
Story
This is the strongest part of the game. The world has a lot of history, and your companions aren't just people following you around. They have personalities, opinions and relationships with your character. Your choices can also change how they react to you.
Combat & Gameplay
Combat is more tactical than a normal action RPG. Managing your party and deciding which abilities everyone should use becomes important, especially in difficult fights.
Who I Recommend It To
RPG players who care about story, characters, choices and building their own character.
Final Thoughts
One of those RPGs where the characters and decisions are just as important as the actual combat.
