Max Payne 3

ShooterStory RichAction
8/10

What I liked

The shooting feels excellent, and the slow-motion Bullet Time system makes gunfights much more entertaining. The game also has a dark and serious atmosphere that fits Max Payne very well.

What I didn't like

The game is very linear, and there are times when I wanted a little more freedom instead of constantly moving from one gunfight to another.

Story

Max is older and in a very different place in his life, but he is still the same damaged character. The story is dark and violent and gives the game a strong atmosphere.

Combat & Gameplay

This is the best part for me. Diving through the air in slow motion while shooting enemies is extremely satisfying, and the weapons feel powerful.

Final Thoughts

A very good third-person shooter with excellent gunplay and one of the best slow-motion combat systems. I just wish there was a little more freedom between the action.
