The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings Enhanced Edition
What I liked
The story, characters and choices are the strongest parts. Decisions actually matter, and the game can change significantly depending on choices you make.
What I didn't like
The combat and controls can feel dated compared with The Witcher 3, especially when going back to this game after playing newer RPGs.
Story
The political story is complicated, with different kingdoms, characters and motivations. I liked that choices aren't always clearly good or bad.
Combat & Gameplay
Combat requires more preparation than simply attacking everything. Signs, potions and different tactics give you several options, although the controls aren't always as smooth as I would like.
Exploration & Open World
The areas aren't as open as The Witcher 3, but there are still plenty of side quests and places worth investigating.
Comparison
I prefer The Witcher 3 overall, especially its open world and smoother gameplay, but The Witcher 2 still has an excellent story and meaningful choices.
Final Thoughts
A very good RPG with strong characters and decisions that actually affect your experience. It shows its age in some areas, but the story and choices still make it worth playing.
