What I liked
The dark atmosphere and challenging combat immediately give the game its own identity.
What I didn't like
I played for such a short time that I never really got comfortable with the combat or had a chance to experience the deeper RPG systems.
Combat & Gameplay
Combat requires patience and timing rather than simply attacking constantly. Even during my short experience, I could tell that mistakes are punished quickly.
Final Thoughts
I can see the appeal of the challenging combat and dark world, but around 12 minutes isn't enough time for me to properly experience a game like Dark Souls. Based on that very limited experience, it's a 7.
