LEGO® MARVEL Super Heroes

Story RichActionAdventure
7/10

What I liked

The large number of Marvel characters is probably the best part of the game. Different heroes have different powers, and switching between them to fight enemies or solve puzzles keeps things fun.

What I didn't like

The gameplay eventually becomes repetitive. A lot of the missions follow the same pattern of fighting enemies, breaking LEGO objects and solving simple puzzles.

Story

The story is light and funny, which fits a LEGO Marvel game. Having so many Marvel heroes and villains together also makes it entertaining.

Combat & Gameplay

Combat is simple, but trying the abilities of different characters gives it more variety. Unlocking additional characters was also a good reason to keep playing.

Exploration & Open World

I liked having an open version of Manhattan to explore between missions. There are plenty of characters, collectibles and smaller activities to find.

Final Thoughts

A fun Marvel game with a huge selection of characters. It's enjoyable, especially if you like Marvel, but the simple and repetitive gameplay kept it at a 7/10 for me.
