Mass Effect 2 (2010)
What I liked
The characters and story are what made this game so good for me. Building your team, getting to know each character and preparing everyone for the final mission made me care about the people traveling with me.
What I didn't like
Some of the planet scanning and resource collecting became repetitive. There were times when I wanted to continue the story instead of spending time searching planets for resources.
Story
This is one of the strongest parts of the game. Your decisions matter, your relationships with your crew matter, and the final mission actually makes you think about who you send to do each job. I really liked feeling that my choices could affect what happened to my team.
Combat & Gameplay
The combat is much more action-focused than a traditional RPG, which I enjoyed. Using different weapons and abilities while controlling your squad gives you enough options without making combat overly complicated.
Exploration & Open World
Exploration isn't really the strongest part compared with the open-world RPGs I normally enjoy, but visiting different locations and meeting new characters kept things interesting.
Final Thoughts
An excellent RPG with great characters, meaningful choices and a story that kept me interested all the way to the end. The crew and final mission are what really made this game memorable for me.
