MY REVIEW • 49.5 HOURS PLAYED
Far Cry 4
What I liked
I liked the open world, weapons, vehicles and freedom to attack enemy locations however I wanted. Kyrat is also a great location to explore.
What I didn't like
A lot of the gameplay is very similar to Far Cry 3. That's not necessarily bad because I enjoyed Far Cry 3, but it doesn't always feel like a completely new experience.
Story
Pagan Min is an interesting villain, and I liked that the story gives you different characters and choices instead of making everything completely simple.
Combat & Gameplay
This is classic Far Cry gameplay. You can go into an enemy base shooting everyone, use stealth, attack from a distance or use animals and the environment to create complete chaos.
Exploration & Open World
Kyrat gives you mountains, villages, wildlife and plenty of enemy locations to discover. I enjoyed having the freedom to stop following the story and just explore.
Who I Recommend It To
Anyone who enjoyed Far Cry 3 and wants more open-world shooting, exploration and freedom.
Final Thoughts
A very good Far Cry game that gives you a lot of freedom, even if it doesn't change the formula that much.
