Deus Ex: Mankind Divided™

StealthStory RichAction
7.5/10

What I liked

I liked the freedom to approach missions in different ways. Stealth, hacking, augmentations and combat give you plenty of options.

What I didn't like

The story didn't keep me as interested as Human Revolution, and the game felt like it ended before everything was completely resolved.

Story

The world and the conflict surrounding augmented humans are interesting, but I wanted more from the main story.

Combat & Gameplay

The gameplay gives you even more options for building Jensen around your preferred style. Sneaking through vents, hacking security systems or fighting directly are all possible.

Exploration & Open World

I liked searching areas for alternate routes and hidden locations. The environments reward you for looking around instead of simply following the objective marker.

Comparison

I enjoyed Human Revolution more overall. Mankind Divided improves some of the gameplay, but Human Revolution's story kept me more interested.

Final Thoughts

A good Deus Ex game with strong gameplay and plenty of freedom, but the story didn't leave the same impression on me as Human Revolution.
