Where Winds Meet

8/10

What I liked

The world is beautiful, the combat is fun, and there is a huge amount to explore. I especially liked having different weapons, martial arts abilities and ways to develop my character.

What I didn't like

My biggest problem is that the game is simply too long. There is so much content that after around 40 hours I started getting bored. Instead of always wanting to see what was next, I started feeling like I was doing too much of the same thing.

Combat & Gameplay

Combat gives you plenty of options, and unlocking different abilities keeps it interesting. Switching weapons and combining martial arts abilities makes fights look and feel good.

Exploration & Open World

The open world is huge and gives you plenty to discover. At first this was one of my favorite parts, but eventually the amount of content also became part of the problem. There can be too much happening instead of the game keeping you focused.

Final Thoughts

A very good open-world RPG with great combat and a beautiful world, but it needed to be shorter. I enjoyed it, but eventually the length started making me lose interest.
