MY REVIEW • 53.7 HOURS PLAYED
Tom Clancy's The Division
What I liked
I liked exploring New York, improving my character and constantly looking for better weapons and equipment. The city has a great atmosphere, especially with the streets almost empty after the disaster.
What I didn't like
Some missions and activities become repetitive, and certain enemies can take too many bullets before going down.
Combat & Gameplay
The cover-based shooting works well, and finding better equipment gives you a reason to continue playing. Building your character around different weapons and abilities adds RPG elements to the shooting.
Exploration & Open World
Exploring New York and finding equipment, missions and encounters makes the city interesting even outside the main story. The Dark Zone adds something completely different because other players can become part of the danger while you're trying to extract valuable gear.
Who I Recommend It To
Players who enjoy third-person shooters, RPG-style gear progression, open-world exploration and tactical combat.
Final Thoughts
A strong tactical shooter with great atmosphere, gear progression and an interesting version of New York.
