MY REVIEW • 23.1 HOURS PLAYED
DOOM
What I liked
The combat is fast, aggressive and just fun. The game doesn't want you hiding behind cover. It wants you moving, getting close to enemies and constantly attacking.
What I didn't like
After a while, the basic gameplay can become repetitive because most situations come down to entering an area and killing everything before moving forward.
Story
The story is there, but it isn't really what kept me playing. The action and gameplay are much more important.
Combat & Gameplay
This is easily the strongest part. The weapons feel powerful, Glory Kills encourage you to stay aggressive, and constantly moving around enemies makes every large fight feel intense.
Exploration & Open World
The levels have secrets, upgrades and hidden areas, so there is a reason to look around instead of always following the main path.
Final Thoughts
A very good shooter that focuses on exactly what it does best: fast movement, powerful weapons and nonstop demon killing.
