Rise of the Tomb Raider
What I liked
I liked the combination of exploration, climbing, combat and tombs. The game gives you enough variety that you're not doing the same thing all the time.
What I didn't like
Some of the open areas contain too many collectibles and small activities. I didn't always feel the need to complete everything on the map.
Story
Lara's search for the Divine Source gives the adventure a good reason to keep moving forward, although the gameplay and exploration were stronger for me than the story.
Combat & Gameplay
Using the bow, guns, crafting and stealth gives you several ways to deal with enemies. I especially liked using the environment and stealth before starting a direct fight.
Exploration & Open World
The optional tombs are one of the best parts. Solving puzzles and reaching hidden areas makes exploration feel rewarding.
Final Thoughts
A very good action-adventure game with a nice balance between exploration, combat, climbing and puzzles.
