Metro Exodus
What I liked
I liked that Metro Exodus gives you more freedom to explore while still keeping the dark atmosphere of the Metro games. Leaving the tunnels and seeing completely different environments made the game feel much bigger.
What I didn't like
Movement and some of the controls can feel a little heavy, and there are parts where the pace slows down more than I wanted.
Story
Traveling with Artyom and the crew makes the story feel like a journey rather than just moving between missions. I liked seeing the group travel across Russia looking for somewhere better to live.
Combat & Gameplay
Weapons feel powerful, but ammunition and resources are important. Cleaning, modifying and maintaining weapons also fits the survival feeling of the game.
Exploration & Open World
This is probably what I liked most compared with the earlier Metro games. The larger areas give you freedom to investigate buildings, find supplies and discover smaller stories.
Final Thoughts
A strong combination of shooter, survival and exploration. I especially liked having more freedom while still keeping the atmosphere that makes Metro different.
