Watch_Dogs 2

Open WorldShooterStory Rich
7/10

What I liked

The hacking gives you more options than simply shooting your way through missions. Using cameras, drones and other technology lets you deal with situations from a distance.

What I didn't like

Some activities become repetitive, and the lighter tone didn't always work for me.

Story

Marcus and DedSec are very different from Aiden and the first game. The story focuses more on technology, corporations and what they can do with people's information.

Combat & Gameplay

The hacking tools are the best part. Being able to use the drone and other devices makes it possible to complete parts of missions without physically entering every area yourself.

Exploration & Open World

San Francisco is colorful and enjoyable to drive around, with plenty of activities spread throughout the map.

Comparison

It improves the hacking and gives you more tools than the first Watch_Dogs, although I don't think every change automatically makes it a better overall experience.

Final Thoughts

A good open-world hacking game with more tools and freedom than the first one, but some repetitive activities and the overall tone kept it at a 7 for me.
