What I liked

I liked exploring Talos I and never being completely sure what was safe. The Mimics make you suspicious of normal objects because almost anything in the room could suddenly attack you.

What I didn't like

There can be a lot of backtracking, and sometimes I spent too much time managing inventory and resources instead of moving forward.

Story

The story has some interesting ideas about identity, memory and the choices you make. Discovering what happened on the station was a big part of what kept me playing.

Combat & Gameplay

I liked having different ways to solve problems. Weapons, abilities, hacking and environmental options give you freedom instead of always forcing you into direct combat.

Exploration & Open World

Talos I is one of the best parts of the game. Going back to areas after getting new abilities can open places you couldn't reach before.

Final Thoughts

A smart sci-fi game with good exploration and a lot of freedom. I especially enjoyed discovering the station and figuring out my own way through different situations.
