Saints Row: The Third

Open WorldStory RichAdventure
7/10

What I liked

The game doesn't take itself seriously at all. There are crazy weapons, ridiculous missions and plenty of situations that would never happen in a more realistic open-world crime game.

What I didn't like

The crazy humor can sometimes become too much, and some of the side activities become repetitive.

Story

The story is completely over-the-top, but that fits Saints Row. It's more interested in entertaining you than creating a realistic crime story.

Combat & Gameplay

There are plenty of weapons, vehicles and upgrades to experiment with, and the game gives you a lot of opportunities to cause complete chaos.

Exploration & Open World

Steelport gives you an open city to drive around with activities, stores and missions spread across the map, although some activities start feeling similar after a while.

Final Thoughts

A fun and ridiculous open-world game that doesn't try to be realistic. I enjoyed the freedom and crazy missions, but the repetitive activities and over-the-top style kept it at a 7 for me.
