Far Cry 5

Open WorldShooterStealth
8/10

What I liked

I really liked exploring Montana and having the freedom to decide which area I wanted to work on first. The weapons, vehicles and companions give you many different ways to create chaos.

What I didn't like

Some missions and activities become repetitive after enough time, and sometimes the story interrupts what you're doing when you would rather continue exploring.

Story

Joseph Seed and his family make the story interesting. Each region has its own main enemy, so taking control of the different areas feels like you're slowly breaking down the cult.

Combat & Gameplay

The shooting is fun, and I liked having different companions that can help depending on how I want to approach a mission. You can use stealth, attack directly or turn everything into complete chaos.

Exploration & Open World

Montana is beautiful and gives you a lot of freedom. I liked being able to drive around, hunt, fish, find missions or just attack enemy locations.

Who I Recommend It To

Far Cry fans and players who enjoy open-world shooters with lots of freedom.

Final Thoughts

Another strong Far Cry game with a great open world and plenty of ways to play.
