Assassin's Creed Origins

RPGOpen WorldShooter
8/10

What I liked

Ancient Egypt is probably the best part of the game. Exploring pyramids, deserts, cities and temples makes the world interesting even when I'm not doing a mission.

What I didn't like

Some of the side activities can become repetitive, and sometimes you need to level up before continuing what you actually wanted to do.

Story

Bayek is a good main character, and his personal story gives the game more emotion than just hunting different targets. The story also shows how the Assassin Brotherhood started.

Combat & Gameplay

The RPG-style combat is very different from the older Assassin's Creed games. I liked finding better weapons, upgrading Bayek and having more freedom in how I fight.

Exploration & Open World

Egypt is huge and beautiful. Different cities, deserts, pyramids and wildlife make exploring one of the strongest parts of the game.

Who I Recommend It To

Assassin's Creed fans and players who enjoy RPG progression, history and large open worlds.

Final Thoughts

A strong Assassin's Creed RPG with an amazing version of Ancient Egypt to explore.
