What I liked
The atmosphere and setting are what stand out the most. Rapture feels completely different from the typical locations you see in shooters, and exploring it is a big part of the experience.
What I didn't like
Some of the combat and movement feel dated compared with newer shooters.
Story
The story, environmental details and mystery surrounding Rapture make you want to continue exploring and understand what happened there.
Combat & Gameplay
Using normal weapons together with Plasmid abilities gives the combat more variety than a standard FPS.
Final Thoughts
A very good story-driven shooter with an excellent atmosphere and memorable world. It shows its age in some areas, but the overall experience still deserves an 8.
