MY REVIEW • 26.6 HOURS PLAYED
Control Ultimate Edition
What I liked
The powers are easily one of my favorite parts. Picking up objects with telekinesis and throwing them at enemies never really stopped being fun.
What I didn't like
The map can be confusing. There were times when finding where I needed to go was more difficult than actually completing the mission.
Story
The story is strange, mysterious and sometimes difficult to completely understand, but that fits the game. Discovering more about the Federal Bureau of Control and the Oldest House made me want to keep exploring.
Combat & Gameplay
Combining Jesse's powers with the Service Weapon makes combat fast and fun. Once you have more abilities, you can move around the battlefield throwing objects, using powers and shooting without having to stay behind cover.
Exploration & Open World
The Oldest House is one of the most unusual environments I've explored in a game. It constantly changes and has plenty of strange rooms and hidden areas.
Final Thoughts
A unique action game with excellent powers, fun combat and a very strange world. The confusing map was frustrating, but the gameplay made me want to keep going.
