MY REVIEW • 5.2 HOURS PLAYED
Alien: Rogue Incursion VR
What I liked
Being inside the Alien universe in VR makes the experience much more intense. Hearing something moving nearby and not knowing exactly where the Xenomorph is creates real tension.
What I didn't like
VR can make longer sessions more tiring, and some parts of the gameplay can become repetitive.
Story
The story fits the Alien universe well and gives you a reason to investigate the facility and discover what happened.
Combat & Gameplay
Using weapons and equipment in VR makes encounters much more intense than they would be on a normal screen. Fighting a Xenomorph when it feels like it's actually standing in front of you is a completely different experience.
Exploration & Open World
Dark corridors, alarms, sounds and the constant possibility of encountering an Alien make exploring the facility very tense.
Final Thoughts
A very good Alien VR experience. The atmosphere and VR immersion make the Xenomorph much more frightening, and that was easily the strongest part of the game for me.
