What I liked
The characters and story are the strongest parts. Building your team and learning about the different characters makes the missions feel more meaningful.
What I didn't like
Some gameplay elements naturally feel older now, and there are parts between the major missions that can slow down the pace.
Story
The combination of dialogue choices, squad members and third-person shooting works very well. Your relationships with the crew are just as important as the combat.
Comparison
I rated my other Mass Effect 2 entry 9/10. I'm keeping this separate Steam entry at the 8/10 score I chose rather than automatically giving both entries the same rating.
Final Thoughts
A very good story-driven RPG/shooter with memorable characters and choices. 8/10.
